We are so excited to announce that our upcoming benefit concert, will be headlined by The Dares! They will be supported by TKE's The Lifted, and by Will from last year's SunGod Battle of the Bands contenders The City Walls!

Tickets will be sold through UCSD's Box Office, $8 Advance, $10 at the Door.

Screening!

Hi everyone!

The Invisible Children Frontline Tour screening of 'Tony' is TONIGHT at 7PM in the Multipurpose Room (Student Services Center)! The screening will be followed by a Q and A with the Invisible Children Roadies and a Ugandan advocate. We hope to see you there!

Hey Everyone!

We hope everyone had a great summer! We can't wait to see you at our first general body meeting of the year on October 5th, at 7pm in the Eleanor Roosevelt room in Price Center West. Also coming up, we will be holding a screening on October 18th as part of Invisible Children's Frontline Tour. The IC Roadies will be here, as well as a Ugandan advocate!

Last Event of the Year!

Hey Everyone!

Make sure you come out to our last event of the year, The Business of Doing Good: How Socially Conscious Businesses are Empowering the World, this Tuesday in the Multipurpose Room! Come hear representatives from Hmlty, One Mango Tree, Krochet Kids, Ember Arts, and Sseko Designs talk about the role of sustainable business practices and development in the third world, and how you, a consumer, can help. Each speaker will discuss a specific business practice unique to their organization followed by a short panel discussion.

Spring Quarter Announcements

Hi Everyone!

We have some really exciting events planned for this quarter! Join us next week for the Invisible Children Congo Tour Screening, where the Roadies will be showing the brand new film Tony and we will hear from a Ugandan advocate!

Then join us Monday of week 4 for our first GBM of the quarter! We will discuss our Awareness Expo and Fashion Show, which will be held at SunGod! See you all on Monday!

Our Week 9 GBM will be held in the Dolores Huerta and Philip Vera Cruz room, in the Old Student Center (across from the Bike Shop and Food Co-op, on the first floor, below the LGBT center). We hope to see you all there!

There will not be a GBM this week, but join us in Week 9 for an update on the war, info on upcoming events, and a short IC bracelet film!
